Membership Description

Please choose one of six membership levels:

Health professionals and practice managers use My Green Doctor to add environmental sustainability and climate resilience to their clinics, medical practices, and homes. Individuals or entire practices can register to become members. After you register, we will email you this attractive Green Practice Pledge Certificate to display in your office to demonstrate to patients and co-workers that the practice has pledged to go green:

Basic Green Member (free for 3 months) Free Select

Basic Green Membership provides healthcare practices, clinics, and outpatient centers everything needed for the first three months of their environmental sustainability program: the waiting room Pledge Certificate, “Quick Start, Now!” instructions, our proprietary  Meeting-by-Meeting Guide, and a free 15 minute call with one of our experts. After three months, we hope you will decide to transition to a higher membership level with more resources and services. and perhaps ask us to actively manage your sustainability program.
Partner Society Member (free with discount code) $72 per year Select
Fees are waived for Partner Society Membership by using the DISCOUNT CODE of one of My Green Doctor’s Participating healthcare organizations. Ask your organization for the discount code or email us: [email protected].  Partner Society Members have full  access to My Green Doctor, the most comprehensive environmental sustainability resource: our complete Meeting-by-Meeting Guide, dozens of educational tools for colleagues, patients and families, 30 minutes per year of expert consulting by  phone or  Zoom, the Green Office Certificate once qualified ($250 without membership), and more.
Patron Green Member $100 per year Select
Our Patron Green Members support our work with an annual donation of $100 to the My Green Doctor Foundation. Donations are  tax deductible in the United States. Thank you for supporting out work! Starting in 2025, Patrons are recognized in My Green Doctor’s Annual Report. Patrons have full access to My Green Doctor’s online resources. We welcome your inquiries and ideas. Individual Green Member $6 per month Select
Individual Green Membership is for individual clinicians, practice managers, and anyone on the healthcare team. You’ll have full  access to My Green Doctor, the most comprehensive online environmental sustainability resource: a waiting room Pledge Certificate, our complete Meeting-by-Meeting Guide, dozens of educational tools for colleagues, patients and families, and 30 minutes per year per practice of expert consulting by phone or Zoom.
Entire Practice Green Member $500 per year Select
Entire Practice Green is your smartest choice. It is an annual membership that means hiring My Green Doctor experts to guide your sustainability program at one clinical location for an entire year. This comprehensive approach includes:
  • A unique registration code for the practice location
  • The waiting room Green Practice Pledge Certificate
  • Full access by every member of the healthcare team to My Green Doctor’s proprietary practice management program
  • The complete Meeting-by-Meeting Guide, educational tools, and our Workbooks offering more than 120 actions
  • Use of the Green Purchasing Platform where practice managers will find environmentally preferred products and services that have been vetted by MGD (coming Summer 2025)
  • Two hours per year of sustainability management consulting from My Green Doctor experts
  • One Continuing Medical Education program (1 hour) per year by Dr. Todd Sack, My Green Doctor’s Executive Director, a $100 value per clinician (coming Summer 2025)
  • The Green Office Certificate, a $250 value once a practices qualifies
  • Recognition of the practice by My Green Doctor websites, newsletters, and public events

Community Green Member $4 per Month Select
Community Green Membership is  for anyone wishing to benefit from environmental sustainability at home and at work but not working  in outpatient healthcare. For just $4 per month, you will have access to My Green Doctor’s Workbooks with more than one hundred practical Action Steps for saving money. And you can read our brochures, short topics, and other tips for keeping your family healthy. The topics  include saving energy and water, safe use of chemicals, healthy food choices, avoiding waste and plastics, recycling, green travel, and climate change.
